October Rain
十月飘雨 (英文版)
Rudderless, it comes
The rapid drops sputter the windowpanes
Dancing with indiscreet rhythm
Like a piano recital murmuring at your earlobe
Seducing you to abruptly
exit the door of your ethereal dream
Eyes wide open as the limpid morning light
inundating your vision
And it is gone
When you anticipate another soggy morning
It is gone like an artifice
Leaving some arcane watermarks
on the dusty glasses
Like a riddle of life to be decoded
or just a series of trivialized footprints
that expound nothing
Practically nothing that matters you
for whatsoever intimacy
When the world goes round and round
senselessly without any edifying direction
With eyes closed, you lie back down
Inside a mammoth insular cocoon
Weaving the endless ecstasy of carnality
You deafen your ears
to another deafening loquacity
of the October rain.........
